“At Road Metals we are so impressed with the Loadscan volume scanner that we bought another one within three months of the first.

— Murray Francis, Managing Director, Road Metals Co Ltd

There are several features I am especially impressed with. It is easy to set up and use and it’s easy to shift its location. It doesn’t need to be manned and we can check at any time on-line to see what the production is and the times of delivery. It sends all the information to our computers for invoicing.

At Road Metals we specialise in the supply of Crushed and Screened Aggregates in all parts of the South Island. We use the scanner to tell us the exact cubic metres of gravel our trucks are carting to a contract. The contract is paid for by volume so we find the scanner perfect for this as it gives us the cubic metres for each truck and trailer and then gives us our total tally each day, each week and each month. I would most certainly recommend a Loadscan scanner.

“At A & R Earthmovers the Loadscan scanner is used for a range of things such as: measuring imported metal that is being used to build our roads; measuring fill that is carted around site; and selling pumice and our other products out the gate.”

— Cassidy Schulz of A & R Earthmovers

At A&R Earthmovers we specialise in earthmoving and bulk fill supplies – for example, pumice, topsoil and clay, so the scanner is used in our everyday operations.
The Loadscan system has helped us improve our costing and pricing when tendering for large and small scale jobs. Used in combination with our Loadrite scales we can tell exactly how much a product weighs to the volume we are carrying.

It’s a simple system to use and the support team has been great. I would recommend this load scanner for sure.

The team at Makies were looking for a reliable and accurate alternative measurement system to traditional weighing systems for a new quarry operation. The complete turnkey Load Volume Scanner was chosen for its proven accuracy, reliability and fast non-contact truck measure. Initial testing onsite has been a great success and has supplied valuable load measurement data.

The Loadscan® Fixed Load Volume Scanner is perfect for applications where there is a permanent site office. The fixed truck measurement unit is hardwired to the office giving instant load data access to the operations staff, as well as the added convenience of out-of-the-weather operation. The standard LoadScan® Fixed Load Volume Scanner truck measurement unit includes a concrete pre-cast mounting block, however custom solutions for unique mounting points can easily be catered for.
