Load Volume Scanner Canada: Gro-Bark Leads the Way in Accurate Bulk Measurement
Loadscan has strengthened its presence in North America with the installation of a Load Volume Scanner in Canada, bringing innovative payload measurement technology to the landscaping and bulk materials industry.
Earlier this year, Loadscan Ltd. director Carey West traveled to Ontario to oversee the setup of Load Volume Scanner (LVS) systems for Gro-Bark, a leading producer of bulk organic materials for landscaping and horticulture. This milestone marked an important step in Loadscan’s international growth and commitment to providing accurate, reliable volume measurement solutions to Canadian businesses.
Gro-Bark’s Adoption of Load Volume Scanning Technology
In March 2013, Gro-Bark purchased two block-mounted LVS systems to improve efficiency and accuracy across their operations. These scanners are now operating at the company’s Bancroft site and its Georgetown, Toronto location.
The investment in Load Volume Scanner Canada technology has enabled Gro-Bark to:
Precisely measure material received from outside suppliers for better inventory control.
Ensure trucks are loaded with the exact quantity of product ordered, improving customer satisfaction.
Reduce the risk of costly underloading or overloading errors.
According to early reports from Gro-Bark, the insights provided by the LVS have proven highly valuable. The ability to obtain real-time, non-contact measurement of bulk loads has improved both accountability and operational efficiency.
A Growing Global Footprint
Gro-Bark’s purchase represented the sixth and seventh LVS systems sold by Loadscan Ltd. since late 2012, when the company began manufacturing the product under license from Hamilton-based Tally Clerk LVS. The expansion into Canada demonstrates the versatility of Loadscan’s technology, which is being adopted worldwide in industries ranging from civil construction to quarrying and mining.
With businesses like Gro-Bark leading the way, the demand for Load Volume Scanner Canada solutions continues to grow as companies seek greater accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in their bulk material handling.
