Keeping connected with the compost and mulch industry
On 28-31 January 2019, Loadscan will be exhibiting at the USCC Compost Conference for the fifth year. Compost2019 will be held in Phoenix Arizona, and you’ll find the Loadscan team on booth 308.
At this event, we will be showcasing our new conveyor volume scanner (CVS) alongside the successful load volume scanner (LVS).
The Loadscan LVS and CVS systems both utilise laser scanning technology, combined with proprietary software, to measure the exact volume of the material (either loaded in a truck/ trailer bin or flowing on a conveyor belt).
The CVS is expected to be a popular tool for the green industry given its ability to automate batching of landscape products and specialty mixes. Its specially designed scan-head, with single laser, continuously scans the full width of a conveyor belt at high angular resolution to capture accurate volumetric measurement of the material flowing by.
Loadscan has a long and favourable involvement with the green industry. Dalton’s, a signature mulch producer in New Zealand, were the first early adopters of load volume scanning technology two decades ago.
