Loadscan’s innovative technology at Austmine

Loadscan will be exhibiting for the first time at Austmine, Brisbane’s Mining Innovation Conference and Exhibition, showcasing their load volume scanner (LVS) and conveyor volume scanner (CVS) on booth 31 from the 21-23 May 2019.

Austmine is the leading industry body for the Australian Mining Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) sector, with over 570 corporate members around the country.

Australia’s mining export is booming and Loadscan’s presence in Australia is at an all-time high with mines taking advantage of tracking haul-back and accurately accounting for material by volume.

The LVS truck load profiling system gives real-time data, including 3D imaging, of every load so fill factors and correct loading can be monitored. It provides an exact picture (with +/- 1% accuracy) of the quantity of material being extracted/hauled and scanning trucks on their return route will allow mines to monitor (and manage) wasteful haul-back.

The CVS is a high-tech, yet easy-to-use, tool that allows users to see how much material is moving across their conveyor belt. The CVS product release has been highly anticipated throughout the mining community. It will provide accurate non-contact volume measurement of materials, allowing the user to optimise productivity and gain ultimate production control.
