At first glance, a truckload of dirt looks like just that – a truckload of dirt. The transparency extends to subcontracted haulers and pit owners. “If they have any disputes, we can show them the 3D scans… everybody’s open.” Even initially resistant partners came onboard once they saw the clarity in billing.

Efficiency across sites

The LVS has proven effective on both large pits and tight residential projects. One scanner stays at the main site, the other rotates as needed – ensuring no material is hauled without a scanner in place. “We won’t run material from the site unless we have one set up,” Matt explains.

This visibility is especially valuable given Prince contracts all trucking through brokers. Trucks are billed for both haul and material, and Loadscan gives a solid check on both.
